Before + After
Spaces Transform Us
Before: Playroom with fire and water damaged walls. Blue paint that didn’t do this beautiful South facing room justice.
Before: Small modular home in need of updating and opening up to all the rich Florida flora and fauna.
Before: There was an uninviting front walkway and entrance to the house. I conferred with the client about a workable plan for small construction and landscape investments.
Before: We addressed an undefined wide-open space between the garage and the back corner of the house.
After: We created an inviting entryway, demarcated with granite posts, shrubs and flowers, leading to the back entry at the corner of the house.
Before: The dark walls absorbed the abundance of natural light and the furniture was ill proportioned for the space.
Before: This small room struggled to carry such a jarring color and had very little space to function as a bedroom.
Before: The dark colors fought with the light that streamed in through the windows and moved around the house as the hours passed each day.
Before: Furnishings and closed curtains had obstructed the full length window where there was a lovely view of the village center.
After: A warm, inviting, multi-purpose room that lights up with Southern exposure.
After: Completely transformed into a light-filled, modern home with use of vertical, louvered windows for cross ventilation and privacy and created a new access to the canal behind the house.
After: The added front and side porches, color choice and curved walkway were the first phase of their five year plan.
After: A cozy, built-in bed just fit into the indentation next to the closet, leaving enough space for a dresser and proper egress into the room. Passion Flowers and Monkey wallpaper enlivened the space and made everyone who entered smile.
After: Good bones and great local views were enhanced with bright white walls balanced with finished wood floors and clean-lined furniture.
After: The chimney was caulked and painted to blend with the rooms. The walls were painted a unifying white, allowing the sunlight to be celebrated in every room, . This space was transformed at very little expense.
After: Rearranging the furniture allowed the east facing window to became a focal point of the room, bringing with it the wonderful view. The curtain was replaced with a roll-up shade.
